Different types of wrist watches!

Wristwatches are essential timekeeping tools for the people as along with serving the functionality of timekeeping, these pieces are considered as important style elements. These days, you can find numerous watches available in the market in a variety of sizes, styles, and mechanics.

Analog watches: These timepieces are basically face watches with two or three hands representing hours, minutes, and seconds. They are mechanical gears and do not store any information. The dials of analog watches are marked with numbers from one to twelve representing the hours.

Digital watches: Digital watches display time though the numbers and they don’t come with hour or minute hands. These watches function through digital batteries and not with mechanical gears. The numbers keep changing on the dial as per the time.

Quartz watches: Quartz watches are known for their accuracy of timekeeping. This is the most common technology used to craft watches.
These watches run on a quartz piece that oscillates at 32,000 vibrations per second. This technology makes quartz timepieces highly precise time-telling tools.

Pocket watches: Pocket watches are the oldest form of watches. You need to wind the pocket watch daily. These days, pocket timepieces come in mechanical self-wind styles.
These are some common types of watches that are usually worn by many of us. There are some other types of watches as well. You can choose one as per your style preferences.
